Default Do MBCs just go bad

I was at the track Friday night and I couldnt get my Turbo XS DSBC to adjust for anything. I checked the connection on it and it was good. I also checked all the vacum lines on it and they were all good. I even tried adjusting low and high settings on it and I got nothing at all. Do these controllers just go bad or what. The controller does not adjust it at all. When I get down on my car it spikes 10 for a second then falls back to 8 or 9 psi. I really dont know what is going on with it. If anyone has any info on this at all then please post away. Thanks Guys

i have the single stage and for awhile i had it on backwards i bought it used and the kid didnt tell me it had to be put on a certian direction so i would keep turning it up and it wouldnt do anything but stay at the wg regulated 6.5lbs and then someone else told me that it was backward
the V on the bottom i think needs to be pointing towards vacuum
