u need to get a fuel pump. i got a walbro 255. you need to have plenty of fuel when running a turbo. u don't want your car to lean out.

You will need an inline NOT intank if you're deciding to run an 12:1 Vortech FMU. The intank will not supply enough fuel.

Changing your disk in your FMU will depend on your A/F curve printout. You can install a inline pump with the intank pump too. I run a 255 intank with a accel inline.

I've got a Walbro 255 intank and 450's
I'm also using the B&M FPR and since it uses the stock bottom end of the FPR, it cant flow enough fuel back to the pump causing a SUPER rich idle.
If you also have a B&M, as you prolly know you can drill a hole of about 0.030" to allow it to return more, but then you run the possibility of running lean from TOO much fuel returning...

Anyway, my point is if you do get an intank pump, plan on buying a new FPR, and not the $30 "adjustable" one B&M makes.

Ok...go ahead and run the stock fuel pump and 12:1 FMU and tell me what happens as soon as you hit boost.

Exactly

Fuel pumps aren't limited by HP. They are limited in flow. Flow is affected by the pressure the pump is pushing.

What the hell would you install an up graded inline and upgraded intank? Maybe it is a miss print, but you should only need one or the other upgraded. I suggest intank pump incase the stock pump fails or cannot keep up with an inline. And if that isn't good enough, then add a larger fuel line and use the stock sending line and the return line.
