Default Do I need a New Fuel pump??

Hey guys, I had my chrome street tune, new injectors and ecu all done about a month back. I've notice starts ups to be real hard, i have to crank like 2-3 times before it starts. the other day i was under the hood and realised my Fuel pressure was at 20. when we tuned it was close to 40. Does this sound like a fuel pump crapping out? Im not sure what type or brand to get. Im running 7psi with precision 440 injectors. can anyone help me with a good brand and size. thanks

I hear mixed stories about walbro pumps. Is there no alternative to these? Or should i just buy one from a reputuble dealer? The car reads 20 on the FPR regulator at idle right now. Im hoping its only the fuel pump.

What is the mixed up things you have heard about them?

The only thing i have ever heard bad about them is that there is a strain of "knock off's" that are floating around, but if you buy they from a reputable dealer i would be too worried about it

Thats pretty much what i heard was that there really bad for reliability, but then i heard about he knockoffs and pretty much put 2 and 2 together. I can't see why some guys get them off ebay?? I would assuem the knockoffs come off of there. Thanks for the help. Is it a direct replacement? Any modification required?

I have never heard anything negative about Walbros pumps as far as quality. If you get a pump with the install kit it is basically about a 20 minute job to do the install, kit comes with new filter, pump and is a direct bolt on. You have other options as far as Aeromotive but its gets a little pricey when stepping up to their units.
