I am currently in the process of boosting my b16. All stock internals and I am going to shoot for 300 whp. Do I or should I replace my headgasket and try to lower my comperession? Or am I good to go ?

although you dont HAVE TO replace the headgasket, it wouldnt be a bad idea to start thinking about getting some ARP headstuds so you dont blow your headgasket one day....
I am in the 300whp range and i dont have ARPs so dont think that you HAVE TO buy those either....its just a good idea

I've done a few bone stock b16's that broke the 300 barrier. On all of them they had the stock hg and head studs. But replacing them wouldn't be a bad idea.
As far as lowering compression, you can deter compression via ignition timing. I wouldn't worry about running a cometic on this set-up... OEM all the way
