Default Do the High HP guys Go By Compressor Maps

My Question is to the high horse power guys and/or race teams? Do you guys read or go by compressor maps or do you just pick the wheels and trims and go from there?

Hmm I would lean toward the fact that just about every turbo has been tried and there are results showing the outcomes. So I would say they pick one that will be able to support the whp they want and go from there.

yeah but everyones set up is dofferent and that being a large part of the way a turbo performs I just thought some of the big name guys around the forum would be studying these and pushing there limits

to be honest setups really don't vary all that much. A 2.0 liter is still a 2.0 liter...1.8 is a 1.8...etc. Yea there are little difference but it's not going to make a night and day difference. Basically you'll start to see alot of setups when you get to big numbers using the same parts, and alot of the same/similar other stuff.
