Do full turbo kits require tuning?
I live in the Bahamas and have no access to a dyno for tuning. I wanted to know if a turbo kit that supplies an upgraded fuel pump and fuel pressure regulator (DRAG generation 3 kit) requires any sort of tuning. I'm trying to find a kit that will give me good power gains but no headaches after installation. Any input will be greatly appreciated. Also, is there any way to tune without a dyno and where can I learn how to do my own tuning? Thanks.
drag and rev-hard turbo kits both includes a inline pump and fmu. That should be good for about 7-8lbs of boost without any headaches.
Running a retail kit with a stock spring (usually 5-7 psi) should be alright. Tuning is key, but is not necessary for such low boost. Of course if you would tune it, you would make more power gains.
