Do all supercgargers need blow off valve??
this might sound stupid but im new to forced induction, i know some superchargers use a blowoff valve, but do all of them or what?

Positive displacement blowers like the JRSC use a bypass valve so you arn't ramming hot air into the motor while you're cruising. Vortech and other crappy centrifugal blowers don't need a BOV but they are highly recommended.

Not the JRSC. But yeah other "centrifugal" superchargers like the Vortech and Procharger ones do. Jackson Racing "roots-type" blowers have a bypass valve to bleed off the pressure so a blow off valve is unnecessary. But I have seen people put 'em on just for looks, along the air intake piping.

I like how you think a Centrical superchargers are "Crappy." Roots type blowers (JRSC) have limits on the amount of boost because of the design of the turbines. Vortech super chargers are WAY better then JRSC units; power wise. I don't think the vortech would hold up, reliability wise, for 100k like a JRSC unit but who runs a modded motor for more then 40k without a rebuild.
