DMH E-Cutout wiring issues
I bought a DMH Cutout from a friend about a month ago and am just getting around to wiring it up. Problem is I can't get it to open and then close, or close and then open. I have it wired to a two way safety switch but I'm thinking I need a three way switch to make it work. I don't have the original plug setup for the cutout so I was just wiring it myself. Has anyone had experience with these that could point me in the way of the correct wiring for this cutout? I am going to the tuner Monday so I can't order the new wire and get it here on time. Thanks
All current retail cutouts are overpriced crap w/o limit switches or stall motors. One thing you'll need to make sure you use is a MOMENTARY rocker switch. W/o limit switches, stall motors, or stall-sensing circuitry, you'll burn it out if you leave the motor on.
My setup uses 2 limit switches, a DPDT relay, and 2 wires to the motor. The motor turns off just before full open or full closed.

Yeah my three way switch isn't working now I think I'm just gonna have to chock it up and wait on DMH to send me a new pigtail. That is unless someone here has one?
