Default Dizzy timing?

Hey guy's i have my ignition timing set right at 12 degrees on my y8 right now because thats what it is stock on the y8. I am wondering if i should run 16 though because i am using a p28 ecu which comes stock on a z6 motor with a stock ignition timing of 16 degrees. I am also running beerbongskickass's uberdata maps in my car. Since those maps were tuned for 16 degrees and i'm using a p28 which is made for 16 degrees at idle shouldn't I set mine to 16 or leave it at 12 because its a y8?

what do you think is a good idea? i would try 16 degrees and see if it runs better, i mean it i tuned for 16 degrees.. if it runs like crap, go back to 12
