whats the minimum shot you can go with DP??
where can you get the kit at and how much does it run??
would you recommend DP on a stock block w/ basic bolt ons??

At 40 psi fp, on the nx kit you can jet a 50 shot. At 10 psi probably even smaller. But I would go with a NOS kit, way more options, way better tech support. Yes dp on stock block is fine. You can buy a kit from a retailer

I have heard of 120 shot on stock block. (some people even more, but they are ready for what ever happens) Keep in mind, that the general consensus is that a stock honda block is good for ~300WHP (though I have heard of ~420). This is generally said with boost, but I don't see why a nitrous setup would be different. (except of you making a smaller power increase up top, due to that fact that your shot stays the same but your engine sucks in more air as rpm climbs) but there is always progressive controllers.
But if you have never sprayed and don't know what your doing, yeah stick with a small shot.

this is my other dp kit....its nice because its an easy install, and you can go as low as a 35 shot. this is risky though(35) because if fuel+n20 arent filtered properly, a jet will clog. the holes are so small with a small shot that it can happen easily. this doesnt pertain to me cause the progressive setup will be 75 shot from 3-6k and 150 from 6-8k. juice junkie

Re: direct port NOS (slashDEVslashNULL)
This is a kit from NX. Includes: rail, lines, injector nozzles, spacers... it goes for around 1000 retail. As for the spacers, yes i used them. ive heard this could cause a problem with spray pattern or something. I plan to dyno with and without these installed to see if there are any issues. I dont think there will be, but the kit is so easy take off i might as well. NX has some cool distribution blocks that can be used with any dp kit.
also this new progreesive is gonna be unreal. comes with palm pilot and has a ton of options.

I think you should change that fuel line set-up with hose clamps before it goes up in flames.

Re: direct port NOS (btole)
I ran a 80 shot NOS direct port kit on my old hatch with a B16A2 3 years ago. Car responded very well to nitrous. Best run was a 12.3 @110.

i used that set up on two cars and never had a problem. it's a Fuel Hose.
btw, the kit i had hit too hard. even at an 80 shot. i forgot the Part No. for the other kit (with the smaller lines) which hits a lot softer.
i was spraying 120 shot but it took me a long time to jet it properly becuz of all the fuel upgrades i had. the jetting set up the NOS Tech gave me did not work. i cracked pistons on 4 different occasions tuning the nitrous. Once it was tuned in properly , i didn't have any problems.
i wouldn't suggest spraying a BIG shot (120+) on a stock block unless you have spare pistons laying around. just get quality pistons and rods the first time.
i love Nitrous :-). can't wait to spray with Boost.
