Default Direct port nitrous

Could I get any or all of everyones input about direct port? I want to run a good clean and SAFE set-up. What should I buy and what are the procedures I should take before installing... Like Checking the compression and for leakdowns... Also, whats with the whole NX 75 shot= 100whp but NOS or ZEX 100shot=100? Is NX more powerful or something? Please leave your input.

The only reason NX is making more power is that they run a leaner nitrous to fuel ratio out of the box.
NOS and Zex around a 4.0 to 5.0:1 N/F ratio
NX 5.0 to 5.2 : 1 N/F ratio

The companys put in a safety net by keeping the systems running on the rich side.
