Default Difference between nitrous and fuel solenoids?

I bought a used, wet, 75 shot, for my h22a. The systm was flowing rich (10.5 was the leanest) even though I reduced the size of the fuel jet from 26, to 24, to 22. (Nitrous jet is 42) I didn't want to go any smaller than that on the fuel side so I decided to replace the nitrous solenoid in case that was the problem. I ordered NOS part # 16020 and during the install happened to notice that I have the same damn solenoid (16020) on the fuel side. The NOS fuel solenoid is part number 16080, has a different ampage (0.6 vs. 8.6 for the nitrous) and NOS says that the seats are built differently. Anybody know what that difference is? Anybody run a nitrous solenoid on the fuel side? I don't want to have to buy another solenoid but may have no choice.

i think it might just be the seats/seals that are diff to hold up to the diff things flowing thru it. Call NOS to ask for sure if it can be done. aThey are cool down there. They will answer your question

Thanks. I've had good feedback from their tech dept before but some times I also think they'll recommend to buy new product if it's an option. I don't blame them.

if i am not mistaken the #16020 will support up to like 250hp. so that is the part number most of their universal kits come with. thats what mine and all my friends say on them.
