Default difference between 4 bolt and 5 bolt housing? advantages?

i'm in the market for a turbo t3/t4, and i noticed some people are selling 4 bolt housings and others selling 5 bolt housings, this is going into a DC2 with an a/c compatible log manifold and wanting to maintain a/c with an external wastegate; does the housing make a difference?

some manifolds are designed around cartain housings... ask the maker which one he fabbed it up with. the nicething about the 4-olt housing is that you dont have to worry about getting the 5th bolt it... on most 5-bolt housings the 5th bolt hole falls right under the sharpest part of the bend

cool, as long as a 4 bolt exhaust housing will work with a/c and an external gate
