No, they do not. There is absolutely no reason to try and adjust valve timing by advancing or retarding the cam gear(s) an entire tooth.
Usually, tuners don't mess with the cam gears until they've exhausted every other option for power. Even then, the gains are marginal at best. Especially on a turbo car with OEM cams.
When you removed/reinstalled the head, did you follow the proper procedure for installing your timing belt?

So what your saying is adjustable cam gears really wont matter on oem cams in regard of "ease of tuning"? because i bought an ls/vtec swap that was built and boosted with type r cams and it has stock cam gears and I have been undecided on changing them out as added insurance when it comes time for me to get my turbo set-up and tune it...i dont mean to thread jack

sounds like you need to advance the timing on ur dizzy, also sounds like ur iacv isn't working. is ur tps plugged in? could be a couple of things.

wires under the dash as in the wires you use to read the check engine lights? and the compression is good. motor is very healthy, by fuel psi at idle(well if it did idle, when i turn on the key and the fuel pump primes) is 41-43psi, is that about right?
nope, i believe it's a blue plug but it looks just like it.

You must insert a jumper into the service connector, just like when you are pulling a trouble code without an OBD scanner. Do this before starting the car, and be sure the engine is at operating temperature before adjusting the ignition timing.
This is another thing to look in to. The connectors are exactly the same, and easily hooked up backwards. In my experience, the car will start, it just boggs and hesitates like hell and the idle fluctuates.
