DID I GET SCREWED???????

i bought a hondata s200 with boost from someguy off ebay and when i recieved it i inspected it and it doesnt have that little whole for the led like everyone elses. is it suppose to be like that?

my light, lights up inside the box, i can only see it thru the port where the serial cable would go, is it an s200 or a "stage2 model"

i have a s200, if the light is inside can you see it very well? as well as if it were through the whole?
