My car started to sputter and I could smell gas and my check engine light came on. I turned the car off and then turned it back on and it was fine. I let my car idle and it stauled. Then it was hard to start. The next day i turned the car on it was fine. Then it sarted to sputter and I pulled over. I had to start and stop the engine and let it sit for about 15 min. Then it was fine the rest of the day. Is this detonation or something else? Do you think maybe just a wire to my blue box is loose or something else?

 

thats not detonation...it sound like a bad ignition, plugs or wires...

 

thanks for the advice, i just put the turbo on about two months ago with new NGK plugs and wires.

 

Agreed, it's not detonation. Pull your spark plugs and check them out.

 

I would also check your fuel too....might be running rich

 

if im running rich how can i adjust it, all i have is a greddy blue box, and V-AFC

 

That might be why its running weird......the VAFC and the Blue Box are both connected......try unplugging the harness to the VAFC, and see how it runs, I bet thats the problem.

 

Ive had both running for about 2 months already without probs?

 

Pulls the plugs first before we splurt out anymore info, we need more information.
