yep they are crap, it will last about 6 mo. I've gone through 3. The seals go out and the valve shaft breaks. I switched to a 40mm tial. I have 2 good, rebuilt, Deltas... for sale

I understand that the major factor for deltas failing is any install whereby the valves stem angle is not at a 90 to the ground, right side up or inverted. the valve does not open and close properly. I have devised a guide that keeps the valve stem centered and eliminated all failures (except the odd diaphragm rupture)

No Problems with my Deltagate, been running 2 years now,30,000 miles on it,boosting between 9-13psi with the black spring installed in it,i think most of the problems you hear about deltagate's are cause by the owner! morons running extreme EGTs,cooking thier deltagates which in turn causes the valve inside it too stick.

Is there a problem with boost creep with these wastegates? Does the tial control boost creep better?

boost creep is a result of the exhaust pulse and pressure and ability of manifold and exhaust to flow properly, all WG are desgned well, it is a very simple product, failures to keep boost in or bypass properly are because of improper install / application. if you have a lot of creep your car flows too much CFM, go to a race gate etc.. get bigger exhaust, or your EG is mounted not on a central primary collector and just on one primary.
