Deltagate Questions?!?!?!?!?!?
Ok, so I have a Turbonetics Deltagate Mark II wastegate. (yes I know you are going to say get a TIAL, or something else but I got fucked when I bought my wastegate so this is what I have!
) But anyways, now that I'm off that little tangent... There are 2 ports on the Deltagate the top one says "vaccum" and the side one says "boost" can anyone running a deltagete tell me where these are supposed to go? Thanks,
Later,
Sean C.

The top one doesn't hook to anything. I am pretty sure it is for atmosphere. The Side one hooks into the vacuum line which goes to your FMU or boost controller, etc. The way I have my Tial setup (same ports) is I have the side port going to my boost controller, then the vacuum line hooks into another vacuum line on my intake manifold. You can hook it anywhere that is a vacuum source.
if you have a boost controller with your set-up then run the line from the boost controller to the "boost" part on the wastegate , should be the top . if you do not have a boost controller then leave that part alone and the wastegate will boost up to wat its set at ( 7lb. spring , 9lb spring...watever one u got in there). but since its a deltagate that could be a bad idea . might go from 7lbs to 17lbs.
. for the "vaccum" , run hose from a vaccum source to the wastegate . if you have a fitting on the outside of your turbo you can also run it from that fitting to your wastegate . just needs a vaccum line to go to it .

When I called TurboXS, they said I should leave the top port on my Tial open even though I am using the TurboXS Dual Stage MBC. I have heard that putting the line on top can cause problems... is there any truth to this?
i have never seen any problems come up from running it that way . now 20lb.teg has 2 options on how to set it up . pick one buddy .
