I just got a Delta gate Mark 2 from a friend to use on my setup but he didn't have the flashback ring that goes between it and the manifold. Most of the other Wastegates I've had came with this. Do any of you guys know if it will change the way it performs?

 

I might be wrong, but I don't think Turbonetics gates use a firering like the TiALs. It's been a long time since I had a Deltagate, but I don't remember it having one. I think the piston seals agains the flange/gasket. I remember using it with this gasket without any problems:
