Default Del sol d16z6 supercharger?

Hey guys i have a Del sol with a d16z6 engine. going to rebuild it here soon and was wondering about supercharging it. im not looking to have a really fast car . just want a little horsepower increase other than exhaust and header crap. which ones would you recommend and cost. also how much difference in horse power you think it would make. thanks

A turbo setup on your D16 is going to be a much better setup than a SC IMO. You can make 220-240whp on a good setup reliably. This would be the route i would take if i was in your situation

I believe he's looking for 'simple' power. The problem is the JRSC is prone to eating/poping belts. Since the belt feeds the alt, you cold be stranded occationally if you don't notice it. A decent turbo kit can keep your AC & PS, and a T25 will make more power with almost instant boost like an SC. FWIW anyone can peice together a decent HMT setup that's reliable for the price of a used JRSC. It just won't look that pretty. I personally don't pop my hood with the sole intent to give ricer boys boners, so I don't put any effort into bling.
