Del sol 850hp
thx man i really appreciate it im just unexpected guy looking for some help on some pretty extreme stuff any way where i live theirs a whole underground for street racing and theirs rules too and a whole respect you know a whole culture like most places i guess its just done with more respect where im at tho i guess im but how it works is the challenger gets to choose a race and if they win they win respect then the person you challenge gets to pick a setting it can be drag this light to to that or even drift which is not big but it still happens but there usually separate from the drag like i'm doing but if you win that you get there spot on the totem pole but if i can just win the respect part i would be happy but there spot on the totem pole is number 3 so if i could win that it wouldn't only be amazing for my ethics and morrals and stuff like that it would also be life changing anyway as you can see this whole thing does mean a lot to me and this whole thing originated basically from me trying to say that I cant rely set it up for a certain distance i guess
and on a separate note i saw the guy ask for picture yea i can probably send you some at some point its in my uncles shop right now and i have to wait until he gets off duty which should be soon at least i hope it is

i'm not a troll every thing i'm saying is facts not that i can give you any proof but that's just how it goes in the underground theirs no proof that what i am saying is or is not true because anyone that truly knows cant confirm or deny for fear of being eliminated and pea pole who don't know just are too blind to see whats in front of them or purposely steer away from it which between the too is a better option just not to be involved and this ain't no college kid underground ether its the real stuff
Some say being born into the underground racing scene is a gift that not everyone has. Only the people that had their mothers give birth to them while in the back seat of a lime green Eclipse with blue neon going 230mph down a city block can be true OG Lords and worthy of ruling the whole underground scene.
Or something like that
Or something like that
I'm convinced this is the same OP as the one we saw a few years ago asking how to lock VTEC on his stock GSR or some **** because he was "on the run" and had to outrun the law because he "never knew when lights would be behind him" or some **** like that lmao.
I can only assume this is a troll. I literally haven't commented in years but thought I'd give the dude the benefit of the doubt.
Don't waste your time with carbon parts for one race.
850 hp is not feasible on a d series, unless you are okay with the engine only lasting AT MOST 100 miles.
Let's say that is the case. You are going to want to send the car to Bad Guys Worldwide (no clue if he is on this forum. He's on Facebook) Your going to want rocket motor stage 8 cams, and whatever springs they come with the camshaft. That cam alone (with springs) doubles stock horsepower to 194whp (dyno proven.) You will also need adjustable cam gears, And likely +1mm valves. And you are going to want a forged bottom end as well as a large bore, say .060 over. You will want the largest stroked crankshaft BGW makes. You'll need bigger injectors likely 550 cc or bigger if not 1000cc plus. You'll need a 550lph or larger fuel pump. You will need a lot of port and polish and valve grinding work done on the head and intake (2kish). You'll need a larger fuel rail. And to top it off this alone is only going to be 300 crank horsepower if you are super lucky. At this point you are looking at easily 5k in parts, plus 30 hours of labor on just the full (re)build. so another $3500 in labor before turboing the car. all this work just to make the turbo more efficient. You'll still need custom ecu tuning (and obviously a custom exhaust set up) oh, and the turbo set up? Yeah, you're looking at a minimum of 28 PSI of boost. A single jingle wont last long on that kind of boost. Might as well go ahead and do a COP conversion while you are at it. especially considering you are already a solid 10k deep in this car at this point. Garret/Hks/ some kind of name brand turbo, with a tial waste gate, and a good hks BOV, a fat intercooler, a lot of piping and plumbing which isnt cheap.
So 5k in engine building parts, 2kish in manifold and head flowing work, 3500+ in labor building the engine pre turbo, 5k on a turbo set up (labor included if you are lucky) and on something this extensive well over a grand in tuning, oh and add another thousand for hondata. So 15k+ as everyone is saying. 17.5k if you are lucky for a single race. There is no way this is reasonable by any means. And now you no longer have a car to drive. Without that turbo set up you MIGHT be 300hp. And that is at 12,500 on a good day.
Now, want something reasonable?
Everyone else has said v8 is cheaper. Well, v6 is even cheaper. As I said before I HIGHLY doubt you need 850 WHP to beat whatever car you are talking about. Unless its a demon or a hell cat, you likely don't know how to estimate power needed. And even then LESS WEIGHT = FASTER.
So, if you want to do this cheaply go buy a 2006-2011 Saab 9-3 Aero V6 MANUAL (AWD if you want, I dont really care, but youll spend another 5k on a awd car, where as a sedan is under 5k running driving reliably.) Send it to Snailwerks in Sarasota Florida with a check for 3 grand and youll be walking out with 525whp and 600wtq iirc. That includes parts and labor. And since this is racing, lets get into weight reduction. Send another thousand for them to gut everything not important to shave off 700+ pounds of junk. I'm sure they would love to have a bunch of parts to resell. IF you really wanna go crazy, I'm sure you could pay them enough to turn it into a street legal go cart and give you a roll cage. There is a lamborghini shop on the same street. They have never beaten the 325HP 400TQ stripped down car that is the shop beater, because it weighs NOTHING. This route creates lamborghini, and ferrari killers for under ten grand.
We can put this thread to rest. If he has anymore questions it is likely trolling as google searches and talking to experienced builders can fill him in for the rest when he has bukus of cash in his hand.
