Default deg. on cams??

ok guys im going to the dyno in the next day or two. i would like to know what you guys run your cam gears at. so i have a good starting point.

the setup.

:head
ported gsr head w/ race cut guides by rocket motorsports
rocket motor sports valve train
ferrea .5+ valves
blox Bs
ported jg IM(cast)
68mm TB

block:
GE sleaved block 84.5mm
9.7-1 comp CPs
eagle rods
ls crank

turbo kit
full race ramhorn
t67ho.w.63ex
3" dp
afi 1000hp IC
devils own meth kit. running 50/50 water/meth
1200cc msd injectors

also what do you guys think it will make on pump gas and water/meth?

have your engine degreed to what the cam manufacturer recommends.

i dont think i have ever herd of any manufactures giveing any kinda advice on came gear set up...

Why dont you give Ross nog a call, Are you having dave tune it? Ask him too.As for power I think you will make 708whp on meth, Thats what bisimoto made on pump and meth...lol

never said they give advice on cam gear setup. search the mike belben engine degree kit.

i will give to old rossanter a call. and see wahat dave has to say about it but i was just trying to have it all ready for him so he can show up and get to tuneing

dart: im sorry i think i mis spoke in my 1st post im just looking for cam gear setup on my cams. not looking for deg the motor as a whole.

Those are the same things. The problem is that Blox is a replica company so they don't provided detailed instructions for degreeing because they have no idea what it should be. I would put them at 0,0 and see what happens. But you can't rightly start somewhere if you don't know the p2v and v2v clearance you have at that point. 0,0 on my pro1's would have had catastrophic failure.

its running right now at 0,0 and hasnt smashed anything yet lol.i just wanted to see if there is a common setting that makes the best power, i geuss its more of a case by case typ of thing.
