Need opinions on build
Hey guys whats up. I got a question that i have for this build i came up with. I want to see if its possible or if it was done already!
85x89 GSR or LS ( Sleeved to a 2 or 2.1 L )
Head
CNC Port b16 Head 301 CFM @ 550 lift
Skunk2 Pro 3's
Edelbrock Performer X 70mm Throttle body
RC 750's
Hytech Tri Y
Block
RS sleeved 85mm
92mm Brian Crower crank
12:1 or 13:1 Pistons
Eagle rods
Wiseco 8.25cc
Hondata S300
PUMP GAS
IS this a possible build?

A bigger cam, will be needed. I dont understand why people get these heads to flow so much at so much lift, yet they choose a shelf cam that doesn't even attain that lift..
The build has been done, different part choices but the outcome is always the same.. its a monster. Pump gas? Maybe..with bigger cams, other then that, you might need to run e85 or something like that.

thanks all motor for the response. I didnt know they made bigger cams that the Sk2 Pro 3's. Is there really a bigger cam? and what brand would that be?
and anyone else that wants to give some info!

Do you think a LS, GSR, or type r block would be better for a build like this?
Like which one would be more reliable in a fully built motor if the motor is getting sleeved

If you are fully building the motor, really wouldnt matter which block you use. And for the price of a full build I wouldnt waste the money finding a typer block unless your looking from some street cred. If it were me I would find a cheap gsr block and go from there.
