does anyone know about the defi display unit, i looked on their website and i couldn't tell if it needed to have the guages as well or if it was stand alone. i know it needs the control unit. i cant really find any retail prices on them either. just wondering cuz that sounds like alot better deal to just get the electronic display unit then to have to buy all the different guages.

The defi display unit is just a digital way to display the various readings from sensors. Meaning u would need to have defi sensors to read from. Basically it can replace all the gauges and display the readings on the screen, but u would still need the sensor. HTH

Its a nice way to keep gauge cluter down for things that dont need to be looked at all the time such as water temp and oil temp, but you can still have them if you want. It does cost bank too, I have about 1k in my gauges alone, made me feel kind of ricey.
