Default Datalogs of cold *** weather...

So I went to the gas station today in the middle of tearing a JDM prelude front clip apart, and decided to throw my laptop in and datalog as it was about -10 below with a -35 degree windchill.

Anyways, check out these intake temps!

Yah. She fouled out the 2 step colder plugs when I went to start it a few minutes ago. Damn ****... In the shop she'll sit for the night until I can get some more plugs.

The cold weather can make plugs foul? Ive never heard that b4. Is it only "colder" plugs. Do 2 step colder foul easier than 1 step? Is there a certain temp where they will foul,or are more likely to?

Well when using a colder plug it does not burn as hot which means it actually ignites less fuel everytime it fires. My car is still a little rough as far as tuning goes and it doesn't idle too hot due to a bit too much gas. When it gets -really- cold out if I'm not running stock plugs they tend to foul out a little easier. Granted my car was sitting outside of the shop all day and it was below 0 w/ 40 below windchills almost most of the day so that didn't help much either.

I'm going to go back to 1 step colder as thats what I usually run, however I switched to 2 step colder plugs one day when I was unable to get anything local other than a plug that cold.

And OT... Apple does own. :D
