dart block and stroker kit.....??
i have a jdm gsr motor with a greddy turbo on it(18g) with intercooler, hondata s300 ecu with boost control, rc 550cc injectors, walbro 255 fuel pump, skunk2 intake manifold, 68mm type r throttle body, 3" custom downpipe, 3" test pipe, 3" mandrel bent exhaust, excedy stage-2 clutch and excedy racing flywheel. i'm wondering about how much power i can expect? i'm going to tune to 10 psi on 92 octane. i've been told that the stock motor can handle it but i am thinking about getting a dart block 84.5mm and a crower stroker kit to stroke to 2.0-2.2. how much more power can i make with this and is it really worth it???? i'm trying to make 275-400whp. will my stock axles handle this?? i need input.....

Man U FTW
I think you need to research a little more before doing anything. The engine build you're planning is overkill and a half for the measley power you want. Hell, i'm going to be nearing 400whp on a stock block this summer....you dont need a $8k engine to make that kind of power. Another thing is that if you're going to spend the money on such a quality setup, why wouldn't you spend the money on a good set of axles?

My stock axles were fine with over 400 WHP, and that was on a sleeved B16 block making 15-25 drag launches per week for a few months. I still use them on my road course car, more than 200,000 miles later. When they die I'll get something nicer. For 10 PSI on a GSR motor I'd run the stock block. I'd use bigger injectors though, 750's would let you keep the fuel pressure down and cost the same as 550's. The Exedy clutches (other than the twin-disk) are pretty lightweight, I'd go with something sturdier like an ACT XTR6.
PS - I run a 2.2L Dart tall-teck 95mm stroker daily, and it has its advantages, but it's not at all necessary for what you want to do.

R/S ratio is about the same as a GSR, I just got it because I was using a SC and wanted to make the most of it because of the CFM limitation of the blower. For a turbo motor I liked my sleeved B16, cheap, stable, and just turn up the boost for more power.

I have no first hand experience, but I've heard from a couple people that the blocks are lower quality castings than a Honda block. Add in that a sleeved Honda block is cheaper and you understand why you don't see many Dart blocks being built up.
