Does anyone know if a Dart B18 Block recommends a block girdle? I'm looking to make high HP out of my setup (500+) and am currently stumped with this question. If someone can clear this up, I'd appreciate it.

It really depends on how high you want to rev it, it's always nice to have a girdle but it isnt really necessary unless you are planning on running high rpm's.

 

The mains in the Dart block are as strong as if it had a girdle. If it were necessary, Dart would have used one.
