Default What are your street/strip (SFWD) cars using for brakes?

With the hp that I'm beginning to put down. I'm starting to worry about current brake system. I drive my Si on the street a few times a week, and love to get on it when there's an open road. I'm still using the stock brakes with some AEM brake pads.

I've don't know to much about the brake kits that are out there. I need something that is going to work with my 15" rota wheels for the street, and 13" bogart wheels at the track, but is better then stock...

Thanks in Advance

Stock VX brakes for me. Even the ex-Titan SI ran a VX brake swap. I'm sure your stock setup will be plenty

Sorry I don't do much hard drag strip braking, but I'm using 2 piston NSX calipers for my road course setup.

frankie if you're worried about breaking. get some hawk HP +'s and you;re golden. solid bite once you warm them up but when they;'re cold just be prepared to do a lil early breaking.

i heard the cobalt friction bobcats are really good street/track pads. hit up the auto X forum

Stock Si calipers. Brembo blanks. I'm on my 2nd set of Axxis Ultimate brake pads, and will continue to use the same combination. Only downside is black brake dust, but they perform much better than stock.
