My job opportunity fell through due to bad timing on the person who hires part, and not telling me what was going on. Soo I have no job, therefore no money for turbo, I might be waiting another year or so for a turbo now... Stupid f**ker who doesn't call me for two days to let me know what is going on, I passed on two other job opportunities. Sorry if this was kind of OT, but I needed to rant.

I am hoping. Being in college doesn't leave time for good jobs like that normally, and the guy was willing to work around my schedule. So now I am hoping to get hired at the new OSH by where I live working at almost half the pay I was going to make. $15+CellPhone+Benefits+PayedVacation vs $9.25.

 

you were making $15 an hour (=$30G a year) at 18 yrs old? Am I missing something? Not many people I knew at 18 were making that much. Shoot!

 

I think he said he had the opportunity to make that much, but didnt actually get it. If your looking for just summer jobs, try a Temp service place, thats what I did and ended up getting hired at the place I was working at, and it fit my schedule perfect

 

I had a job being an IT tech once making $30 an hour($60G a year) I was 17 when I had this, worked o bout 2 months, decided the commute sucked and I needed to get through college first. Don't be jealous yo. Just playing, it's all about knowing computers. All my money making jobs have been with computers. I bought my own car, my own computer, my own $1500 leather couch, all my stuff I have, for the most part, was payed for by me.

Nope, just good people who know a good IT guy when they meet him, that and when they interviewed me I back-uped their servers, and did some other things for them. They hired me on the spot.
