Default Anyone else having issue's with Fast Turbo (Stan)

Im not one to complain because I understand how things are. But for some reason I can't get ANY kind of information regarding something I sent in to him. It's been over 4 weeks since I sent the part in to him. He claimed it took a week to get to him. Which it didnt, I had the tracking number. THEN after he recived the part I waited and waited...I gave him over 2 weeks. I called him pretty much every 3 days and it was one excuse after another after another. FINALLY he told me it was shipped off to the manufacture of the part. Well I waited a week...called him back to get a update. Of course...he wasnt there...he "stepped out". Mind you another one of my friends called him and spoke with him...my friend hung up with him and called me right away and "told to me hurry and call him he was there". I called him and in a matter of 5 mins...of course..."he stepped out". So I said expletive it...called up the manufature directly. GUESS WHAT? HE HAD NOT HEARD FROM STAN AT ALL...nor had he got any parts in from him!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have NEVER EVER had trouble getting in contact with someone I have done buisiness with like I have with this cat...it wasnt no couple hundred dollars either....we are talking 1200 plus dollars on something which has NEVER worked right for me...and this is the SECOND time I had to send this in to him. I have dealt with a hugh spectrum of companies and dealers and tuners ect...I have been able to call them ALL and get a honest answer right away.....at ANY time of the day! (or night, or morning!) They have ALWAYS treated me as a valuable customer no matter how little or lot I have spent with them!

I dont care how big you are or you aint...customer service comes 1st period. 2006 I have heard more compliants about this guy then I have every heard about any one person period. Wondering if Im just the ******* thats getting the run around from him or if there is anyone else out there?

Get it together, Stan.

Don't become the next Exospeed/One-Fab/WiredSpeedLab/Extreme Power Outers/Drop Shop/insert wannabe businesspeople's name here...

from everything Im getting 2006 he's just falling off. I dealt with him a while back and didnt have no problem....but from a FEW people...Ive heard all this year, he's been lazy and what not....any which way. Im dealing with the manufacture directly now and they are pretty upset about the whole situation...they are doing whatever they can to get my part back to me.

Because there are thousands of transactions not because there are lots of mistakes. Imagine if Ebay were a forum...

Stan is human so he makes mistakes every now and then. I have dealt with him tons of times and never had a problem. Maybe he didn't deal with this situation in the best possible way but I don't think a negative thread about him and his business is necessary at all.

thats probably why you have never had a problem. not to accuse anyone of anything, but at some places I have been a long time customer, I definitely get preferential treatment and "hooked up" compared to someone else "just off the street" so to speak. Im sure you understand what Im trying to say.

I've never had any issues with Stan. Sometimes my order will take a little while longer than I'm told, but I understand that he is a busy guy and often times there things beyond his control that can delay an order. I've spent a fair amount of $$$ with Stan, and not once was I ever disappointed with any aspect of the transaction.

Exactly. Not everybody leaves good feedback when a good transaction has been made, BUT I guarentee u every one that has something go wrong leaves a negative feedback.

It takes many good transactions to build a reputation, and only one or two bad experiences to tear it back down.

yeah,,that really sucks..is it really that hard to call or email someone back? i dont get it..because you know if you were about to buy like $3000 worth of parts and asked them a question they'd be quick to contact you,,but once they get that money it just seems like they dont give a **** anymore..and it keeps happening over and over with these "trustworthy" "honest" buisnesses..im not directing this at stan/fast turbo at all (yet),,just saying in general

^ you are so right man....wow!

Anyway I was put on to Stan by Art and Tony1. I went up to his shop...Art installed a Motech ignition in my car. I spent a few hours up at Stans shop BSing around with him and everything. I never said anything personal about him in this thread...it's all business. Im pretty sure he's cool blah blah blah...Im not making a "Stan's a crook" or not a respectable PERSON thread. I posted a topic about a shop I have/had problems with for over a month now...that's it.

Clip the Apex,
Man I spoke with Glenn at gator for a good 20 mins about a bunch of stuff...he brought up (I think) your case and your issue with Stan...I'd suggest just going direct with him, man. Matter fact let me tell you how good Glenn at gator axles is. That's the reason this all came about was due to an email I just recently got from him. He gets on here and reads what people have to say about his axles. He found a topic of mine that was about a year old and sent me a email asking me if I had any issue's with his stuff to give him a call and he would do anything to get it fixed. Well I was thinking it was because Stan sent him the axle....so I called him....he didn't even know anything about the issue I was having this time...

Since then he received my axle and has fixed it and is ready to send it back to me...a matter of 2 days tops! Yet dealing with Fast Turbo it took 4 weeks for Gator to get the axle?

Anyway I'm done with it honestly...I wanted to post up my feedback as a customer of that place. Again not a personal attack, just my impression of a business that I think is falling with customer service.

I have posted many topics with good feedback of shops that do good work and are str8 up. Do a search. I do go out of my way to give positive feedback when it's do. I have never had to post a bad report...but I had problems so I wanted to see if I was the only one...which I see now that I'm not.

Erik, these are the axles you actually purchased from me a while ago?? Did you try to contact me directly about your issues sir? I am also direct with Gator so I could of had these axles sent directly to Glen at Gator and taken care of it. At the time of your order, I used to have Stan supply these to me. If there is anything I can do to help in your situation please let me know also

Stan will always bend over backwards to help out, I know for a fact he is extremely busy and recently lost some help which is unfortunate. I am assured Stan is working on this situation as we speak and will be taken care of

I can assure you that Stan will not do anyone wrong, I have been dealing with him for a couple of years now, if he messes up or doesnt get an order out he usually overnights something out of his own pocket for customers. He is really a stand up guy. I will try to get more info on this situation and help where and when I can, please contact me if you need any help Erik.

Just spoke to the original thread starter on the phone, he was in Iraq at teh time of order and had his friend pay me for these a loooong time ago. Sorry Erik, best to contact me BUT you were out of loop somewhat on this purchase not realizing you purchased from me even But if I can be of any help CALL ME We will get things straightened out
