daily drivers... what turbo mani are you using??
when i was driving my boosted prelude i had some heat issues under the hood, at ful boost with the wastegate wide open, the car had a tendancy to over heat. i was running one of those POS obx style manifolds at the time that i am sure had a major contribution to the cause.
with any luck, my next project will involve a B series, so i wanna get an idea of what manifolds people are runing, and what kind of power they are making, and if its daily driven, please
TIA

This is on a customers CRX with a b16 swap. I have them for $300. 304 stainless, tubular, garrantied for life. no problems with them. http://rs02.securehostserver.c...10006

thats the same thing i had on my Prelude that caused the alternator to repeatadly skull **** itself due to heat

what do you mean by a chrome over a log? Are you reffering to a equal length over a log? Equal length CAN give you more torque. On a 1.8t VW motor we showed a 15 tq gain over the ATP log style. I have not dynoed the honda set ups i have yet so i won't make any false claims. It's also better flow than a log style.

Re: (itr206)
why are you guys making a corelation between engine temp and the manifold?
"when i was driving my boosted prelude i had some heat issues under the hood, at ful boost with the wastegate wide open, the car had a tendancy to over heat."
^that sounds like the car wasn't tuned properly to me or had a cooling system problem. Under the hood would include the inside of the engine right? I'm assuming the water or oil temp gauge was used to determine it was hot...

wastegate placement WAS an issue, where the wastegate was located, all the heat hit the alternator, destroyed 2 of them, and at times, caused the car to overheat
never had problems with the GReddy kit though
