Default D16Z6 Turbo

I just recently bought a 95 EX coupe and I'm trying to see how much whp I can squeeze out of an SOHC, which I know that single cam and high power really arent said in the same sentence. Many of my co-workers have told me that the best way to go is an SOHC turbo with like 8lbs. of boost. Im skeptical about the whole turbo thing due to the fact that my car is my daily driver and I need to make it last. Anyone have any ideas on the most wifely preferred turbo kit for my car, and how little of a strain it will put on my motor

The d16 is a pretty potent motor. With forced induction. Depending on your setup, anywhere up to around 10psi will be good. My buddy is pushing 11psi on his stock d16z6 right now with a mitsu 14b.
Get hondata. You'll be happy.

With good tuning 200-225whp shouldn't be a problem for a daily driver.

just dont buy a kit from a big company such as edelbrock or turbonetics or greddy. You can save yourself alot of money by piecing a kit together, IF youdecide to go that route
