d16a6 setup
Well after my civic with LS swap was stolen I've transfered all my turbo parts that was previously on that car to the 89' crx si I just purchased a month ago. It contains:
Td05h-14b w/ internal wastegate @ 8psi
SMC 500
Log manifold (changing the flanges since I'm back at dseries)
DSM bov
SMIC
450cc DSM injectors
2.5" downpipe
I'm curious though, the motor is 206k miles on it. All the pumps, belts, oil changes, etc... were maintained regularly by the old lady who drive it mainly on freeways. I'm going to do a compression test to see what condition the motor is in. My question is, should I go ahead and throw everything on and see how it runs or should I buy a newer d-motor and boost it? I'm a very tight budgeted college student so I'm trying to avoid any pitfalls.
note: I do plan on dyno tuning after I put it together.

Re: d16a6 setup (krskid)
Start by doing a compression test and see what all 4 are at and if they are good and within a good range of eachother I would go ahead with it just go easy on it for a while and see how it acts.
