D16 EDELBROCK EG KIT ON EK! QUESTION about piggyback
I bought an Edelbrock EG kit for my EK... Im going to install it with help from a buddy... But i have a question the edelbrock kit comes with a Piggyback system for the ECU... buy since its made for OBDI wont i run into problems because I have a OBDII ECU!?

Yes you will. It will not plug and play to your OBDII ecu.However, I would suggest you not even bother with that piggyback system and get a OBDI p28 ecu mated with a conversion harness and a custom tune.

A custom tune will save you headaches and **** breaking. With an ecu specifically tuned for your car set up, you will have the best reliability (assuming it's tuned correctly) and extract the most horsepower.

do yourself a huge favor and do what ''WARE says you will just end up with headachs and a car that does not run right why not get the real power out of the kit.
the piggyback is rediculously outdated and should be trashed IMO
get a chipped obd1 computer and a base map then tune...

toss it. if anything to get that crap to work youll have to get a obd2-obd1 jumper and run a obd1 ecu. if your going to go through that much trouble just spend the cash getting it tuned.
