Whats up fellows. Got my second civic a few months ago. Missed the first. Must say there fun as hell. Ok well my question is I have a 90 civic si i have finally got a few bucks saved up to drop in it. It has a d16a6 in it which loses power after 3k and makes a high pitched sound and misfires up high but idles fine. A couple of people told me it might be the dist. but anyways i have a 14b turbo with hf mani and adapter plate. Would it be worth it to get a d16z6 or y8 or even dohc zc or should i use that money to buy forged internals and run a turbo a6. Would there be a big power difference with v-tech. Because i can get heads fairly cheap or should i get a longblock. Thought about the d15b from hmo. Help would be appreciatted. I want close to 250whp and run a 13 quarter with a desent price. I know u guys will say b series but i want a d and have the mani and turbo already. Ive searched but not found what i needed to know. thanks bill
