Default d15b7 with a td04

I purchased a 92 hatch with the d15b7 and i am going to get a td04 and i was wondering if i could get some instructions on the setup. I heard something about that instead of having a different fuel management unit something about a AFC HAC. the head on it has been ported and polished. it has intake manifold off of a 98 vtec civic, cam gears, si cam, cold air intake, dc sports header and gsr injectors. its got somewhere around 10.5 compression so i know i will need different pistonsto drop it the compression to low 9s or 8s. but otherwise just wanted some advice. apprecitate it. The AFC "hack" is a fancy name for using larger injectors (usually dsm 450cc injectors) with the stock ecu. The SAFC allows you to scale back the voltage from the map sensor, letting the stock ecu run the larger injectors. This causes the ecu to run very advanced timing maps. I don't know how you figure you have 10.5:1 compression; that motor has less than 9:1 compression stock and none of the mods you listed would have affected that. If you're going to spend the money for new internals I would reccomend you spend a little more time and effort on fuel management than the AFC hack.

p.s., for your setup check out http://www.homemadeturbo.com, especially the engine management faq on the message board.

You need to use the search button, this has been covered a billion times. You can figure it out, if you can't its kinda hard to just pick it up. Learn about turbos and what other people do. THere is tons of info on this, just check it out.
