yeah, from practical experience (blew up a turbo d15b7), and the inexpensive costs of a d16 bottom end, you really should scoop up a d16 bottom end (or whole motor for that matter).
if youre stuck on the b7, i have read that bone stock 2JZ pistons (3rd gen Supras) should actually work (and are forged) with the b7. look into it first as i am not sure.
