Are D15 and D16 sleeves same size?
I have been running a boosted D for some time now, and I am finally ready to go the built motor route. However, my budget does not allow for upgraded sleeves. So, in an effort to keep the motor as stout as possible, I was wondering if I used a D15 block will I have thicker sleeves?
Are the outside diameters of the D16 and D15 the same with just a different bore inside? Or do they have completely different sleeves. If they are the same I figure I would just pick up a D15 block and by the time I do a small overbore for new pistons, I would be better off then doing a small over bore on my Z6 and thinning them out too much.
And here's a random picture, because everybody knows that more ppl look at posts with pics.

Go go gadget micrometer eyes!!!
Lol, thanks for the pics, but I can't tell from them if the sleeves are the same size. I would need some sort of measurements.

Haha, I think those motors are running both rods and pistons...I can't really tell because I can't actually see the rods, but I have a sneeking hunch.
