D series turbo.
Beware: I'm a n00b. I just bought a DSM TD05H turbo for my D15B. I have an HF manifold, DSM 450's, and a resistor box from a DA(actually the whole harness). Am I headed towards the right direction so far, or do i need a different resistor box?
On a side note, I'm currently searching for a Y8 IM, GSR TB, boost guage, and AFC. Does it matter what BOV i use, because I don't want that loud *** hiss and I dont live in a good area............... I'd like to keep my **** for a while. What size of charge pipes should i use? How big ofa IC do i need for this turbo/setup? BTW my block has stock everything. Plans are ZC slugs and LS rods but another H-T member said to use TunerToyz rods and pistons, is this a good brand?
Also, Can i have pics of peoples downpipes, and adapter plates for this setup. Thanks

you seem to be confused, at one place you say your block has stock everything and later you mention different piston/rod set ups. do some more research and come up with a goal hp and more people will be able to help you

Re: D series turbo. (JDM_Frijoles)
Things required to hit 200whp on a d-series:
*Working stock longblock in good condition
*Turbo & setup components in good condition
*10-15psi on a not-so-big turbo
Anything else will just slightly move the powerband around, but the head and cams are the biggest restriction, with the IM coming in next depending on the engine used. In other words - buy forged pistons/rods & new bearings before any other extras.
