D-series Kteller Downpipe Installed Greddy....review PICS NOW
so this morning i decided to install the kteller dp that replaces the one that comes with the SOHC Greddy kit. first off i will say that the product that came to me out of the box from kteller really surpassed my exeptations. the welds were nice, came with new gaskets, everything was perfect. The install of the product was another story... although it fits well i have some complaints about the product.
Gaskets that came with it arent even close to the holes that the greddy elbow has... i had to throw that gasket away and use the stock one... the flange its self that connnects to the elbow has about a 1/4 inch or slack on all sides that stick out. The flange that meets with the cat was a little cockeyed and doesnt seet right with the doughnut , so theres a little exhaust leak....nothing that cant be fixed...
Now the plus side to the product... once you realize that you can get it to work on your car you will be happy...it doesnt hit the oil pan and has good ground clearance....boost spike...none....we can resolve that rumor...
theres a noticeable difference in power..im talking a good amount. especially top end....there actually is a top end in the car... i really cant believe that its Finlay there.
All in all i think that once you work out the bugs with the gasket fitments on either end this will be a great product...well worth the money in my opinion
i will add pictures later tomorrow of the install and some of the issues that i had with the product......

That's good to know.
I just made another post dealing with the greddy setup.
If I can't find a solution I like I will probably go with the kteller downpipe.
I would rather replace the weird elbow thing though and run it right into a 3inch pipe.
I was thinking about replacing the turbo all togother but to much work for what amy only give me a bit more power. IMO

if you find a flange for the turbo downpipe, please post it or let me know. the only way to get one is getting it custom made. that really sucks too.
changing the turbo will require another manifold (greddy manifold doesnt fit a t3 flange i believe). so a new turbo and a new manifold, then new downpipe... then a retune.

this sponsor has them. Im ordering a flange from him and doing a 2.5" downpipe straight from the turbo. no more cast elbow for me.

its the same actually. notice the quick flare to 2.5" ? if it was not made like that , you would have to change the flapper.

goes from 2" stock crappy greddy size to 2.5" right away to allow for max performance
Thanks FredoSP!
