Default Cylinder bore??

Hey guys just ordered some cp pistons for my b16a2, stock 81mm bore, with eagle rods. I know this is a stupid question but i couldnt find the answer researching. I know that forged pistons expand a little more than oem ones, do i have to bore/hone the cylinders at all due to the forged pistons expanding more thean stock?

You need to measure piston to wall clearance. The piston manufacturer has a suggestion as to what it should be. Most of what I've read on H-T suggest to alter the p2w clearance in accordance to the power being made. Higher powered engines usually want more p2w clearance, while mildly powered engines can get away with tighter p2w clearance.

Your best bet is to have a reputable machine shop check the p2w clearance and adjust if necessary.

Nope. Your machine shop will adjust slightly for the pistons and account for the piston ring clearances that are with your pistons. ( that you'll give them)

Let them handle it... Of measure piston to wall clearances and adjust the bore accordingly as Jimbo stated
