A lightweight crank pulley would not be a problem, but it won't benefit the system either. This isn't like a supercharger where any additional rotational inertia hurts the increase in power that you're making. (Check out that Holset turbo vid in the FAQs for reasons as to why that is.)

The stock fuel rail can hold quite a bit, over 400whp at least. The issue isn't the rail, it is the fuel injector you decide to use.

Wouldnt you run the risk of shattering the oil pump gears if you rev to like 9k without a damper?

I personally would and do. I have an ATI damper but the fluidampr is a good unit too.

I don't see the need. I've reved over 9500rpms on NA applications without an aftermarket damper. Having turbocharged boost doesn't create any additional vibration. There are limits, but so is the power and purpose of the car.

Hondamarketplace.com. Otherwise, purchase it new and expect to pay a little more.

Seriously bud, throughout the year i heard numerous people destroying there motors by oil pump failures when using the ctr pulley. Balance your rotating assembly and atleast get the street pulley by either ATI, or fluidampnr. Cheap insurance for ya!

So you think the stock 3 groove pulley will "dampen" more than the CTR?

Dont the B16B's rev to the moon?

wow this is definately a 2 sided debate. problem is my crank pulley has alot of chips in it. most likely need to replace anyways, so i can go ctr, fluidampr, or ATI. damn it i need ppl with experience rather than opinions, opinions are still ok.

And despite what most people think B16b's DO NOT come with the N1 pulley, 95% of CTR's sold had AC and PS, there was a very small number of them dubbed "race base" that came without ac and ps, they also did not come with recaro's, the momo wheel, or power windows or locks, it was said this was a version for tuners since they would tear it all out any way. Furthermore the b16b crank is a good bit heavier than your average b16a or gsr crank, i am sure Honda designed it all to work properly, now taking that N1 pulley and putting it on a non b16b could be a problem...
