Default CRX turbo problem

hi guys i seem to have oil in my actuator pipe on the turbo? anyone know what this could mean? damaged turbo seals? there is no oil in the charge pipes although engine is quite smokey when it starts. would any of you recommend a rebuild kit if the seals have gone.

ok maybe its a UK term, i meant the tube/hose that runs from the inlet side of the turbo to the exhaust side? People often put bleed valves on these for altering the boost. what do you guys call it in the US?

You mean the vacuum source to the wastegate actuator? The small tube that runs the vacuum diphram that moves the actuator arm for an internally wastegated turbo?

Oil there means turbo seals for sure, unless you attached a PCV tube to the intake tract before the turbo. it is possible you have a poor drain on the turbo and the oil is backing up, but it really sounds like the compressor side seal is bad and slow leaking in to the compressor side when the car sits.

Best i could come up with.
