Head down to Autozone and grab a big hood scoop and JB weld it on there.

trim the webing on the hood. a crx ramhorn is made differently than a reg ramhorn.

can you shim the motor down with some washers on the pass mount and maybe tranny mount? OR cut your hood webing adn hope when the motor moves it doesnt throw a huge dent in your hood. (my wastegate cleared the hood except when i was getting on it )

like in the other post that is a major mistake that you have to deal with now, i would want whomever made the manifold to correct the mistake or if you bougfht it off another person, name the company so it saves other people the hassle if their products are going to cause problem and clearence issues, i know for a fact no one likes clearences issues and it should be noted that they arent making clearence savy manifolds for the 88-91 civic/crx.... i know i would be pissed

ya. i wasnt afraid. this is one company that has nothing but positive feedback and goes beyond what they have to do as a business to keep you satisfied.

Yeah, just cut the webbing on the hood and it should clear, but damn that header is really tall, or atleast the runners make a very large loop. My runners look to be shorter than yours, but it will fit if you trim the hood. Good luck and let us know...

Come on. There is no reason at all a ramhorn should not fit in a CRX, especially with a single cam. Give the manifold and DP back and have them make you a new one, don't start hacking things.

things are taking care of im 100% satisfied.

and for what you stated every since i made this thread alot of people have been pmming saying that Ramhorns are a problem because our bay are so small and our motors are so far forward. a regular ramhorn does not fit now it may fit if you have a b series since the hasport mounts mounts them further back.

Ramhorns are not a problem if someone takes the time and angles the manifold down.

the problem would not of been solved if the ram horn was angled down. it would of made it worst actually. i had couple guys tell me that most ramhorns on crx have to be customized..

this thread has been going on for 2 days in two different forums and not one person has yet to show me a crx with a ramhorn...
