Default Crx with precision front mount.?

I am looking for a super effecient intercooler for my crx. I have since decided on the precision "medium" 650 hp fmic. I have a 91 crx si with a usdm front end. Does anybody have pics of this on there crx? I know im going to need to cut it, and i don't really mind that at all just as long as its obviously going to be done cleanly. Pics would be great. Here's a pic of the car its going on.

If I could have fit the core, I definetly would have choosen a precision.

However, they're cores are just too long to be able too fit between the bumper support.

I'm sure if you take OFF the bumper support completely, you will be able too fit it, but your bumper will also sag.

Yeah, the onlt FMIC that fits GOOD on a CRX IMO is the 5" JRC. That's what I had to get for my CRX and it's nice!

If you cut the middle section of the bumper support out, a 22x10x3" will fit absolutely perfect...assuming you don't have a/c.

IMO, thats probubly the biggest you can fit in there without removing the bumper support.

So you are saying i can do it tho? Just with much cutting to the bumper. And modifying the bumper support some. What intercooler are you running bryson. Looks like it fits just the way i would want mine to fit. Sorry if you have your set up listed somewhere or have said it a thousand times. Btw your car is sick. I saw the dyno run on ef honda. Did you get it running ok?

whats this sean! boost! hahahahahahahah

you'll love boost man. LOVE IT. IF YOU DO IT RIGHT...but i know your not gonna skimp.

btw, bryson blew his **** up. poor guy.

personally, i'd go with a bar/plate intercooler, possibly one from a Drag kit.....they arent that small...but they should fit well behind your car's bumper

OR, you could surely make a precision fit, but like bryson said, there stuff is HUGE. if you want me to pick you up a precision core or something, they are located 10 minutes from my shop in indiana, gimme a call, my brother could make you up something custom.

the drag ic's are nice and can support over 400hp. The core size on the newer drag3's is 22x6.5.2.25. thats just core, with endtanks its 31.5" long with a 2.25" inlet and a 2.5" outlet

yeah dude, good talking to you just now. i totally need to ride, havent done that since the snow came!

dont tell peter about the boost! haha!

gingerman is expensive, but i really enjoyed driving my boosted car around it....low boost and a roadcourse are just fine together! i only ran 4 psi when i was there.....

i made the 185whp at 6.5 psi (on your old d16a6)

lemme know if you want me to pick you up a precision core, or if you need any other "services" i can provide! haha

later man-adam
