Default crower valves?

I was just wondering if anyone has had any problems with crower valves. I am rebuilding my motor and replaceing the valves and I was going to go with crower. Over the weekend a buddy said his friend did not have no luck with them on nitrious. Before I spend the money I would like to know if there are any other horror stories before I get to building.

the reason why I was inquiring was because my stock valves burned up I don't want that to happen again. My motor will have a fully built bottom end so I plan on boosting quite a bit, so I want to play it safe.

Ok so what if i decide to get type r valves is there difference between gsr and type r valves. And valve springs and retainers, what is your opinion on them. Is there any aftermarket ones that you have heard bad rumors of?

The crower valves are pretty nice stainless pieces for the money. They almost look like rebadged SI brand stainless valves. The frist box I got was junk... looked like someone at crower tied them to the back of their car and dragged them through a gravel parking lot. I returned them + exchanged for another box, they looked good and are in my turbo b16a head.

I've also been using their 63402's in my ITR for like 20k miles, constant abuse over 9k, road racing... they're fine (w/ crower springs + retainers) never had a prob. I think the broken crower cam issue is a thing of the past.. they've switched to billet cores... people are using ITR LMA's now, and there are less improper installs.
