Crower Rods, Any good?
Trending Topics
I believe Econo-billet & regular Crower billets are made in China, to Crower specs, like many others (Scat, Eagle etc.)
I think I read that Econos are machined in China, while reg. billets are machined by Crower in the US.
Both are really good quality and hold up well. I've had the econos. in my H22 for about 3 yrs. (525whp - 430wtq)

Didn't Laskey say a long time ago about a problem with one of the Crower rods having egging problems on the big end? I could be wrong about this but I vaguely remember something about this.
i have a set of crower rods from like 2002, they have been in 3-4 street car setups, making anywhere from 325 up to 550 hp, then they went in my race car making ~800 in 07, and back in the car in 08 making a little over 800. needless to say, they are holding up rather well. i truely am suprised how long they've taken the beatings i love to give them. haha

You all seem to have great luck out of them.
