Default Crap one of my eagle rods is rusty...

It looks like mainly surface rust but its worring me. I have had the rods for close to a year now and only one has it. The one that does have had been open, I had to leave the box in my car for a while at one point and it look like the box may have goten a little damp. Any one have any sugestions or am I focked here? I will post pics tonight when I get home from work. Thanks for any assistances with this.

Just a little extra stress relief. Rust on surface is no problem on an Eagle.

What surface of the Rod is actually THAT important... the big end's got bearings, and the small end's got a wristpin. The middle and outsides?! HA! who cares?!
