Default crankshaft question

wasn't real sure where to post this

i just bought a gsr block that im planning on building and boosting. the motor was definately ran low on oil. the crankshaft, near the thrust bearing location, is black on the lobe of the crank. there are no cracks and the rest of the crank looks pretty good. nothing a polish job wont fix. but that blackish color on the lobe of the crank is what has me worried.

what do you guys think? is this crank ok? just looks like its been ran low, or out, of oil. thank you
