Default Crank Caps?

I am having my block sleeved by RS Machine and they said I need to send my crank caps with my block...Should I just bolt them on loose or should I torque them before I send it? Also is this to prevent the block from warping during the process?

Thanks, just tryin to learn some about the process.

I'm sorry but the real reason they want the caps is in case you don't pay for your block. There is no part of the sleeve install process that requires the main caps. If you send them and they mix them up with another block, YOU are the one responsible for a $250 align bore. Do not send the caps.
BTW, if you don't listen to me, it does not matter if the caps are loose or tight or in a seperate box.

Thanks for the input, can anyone else verify this? If I do not send them will they give me any trouble? They said they cannot take the block without payment first anyhow.

Thanks,
Craig
